The Kiwanis Club of Windsor is a group of community volunteers dedicated to the children of Windsor and Essex County. Established in 1918, as the second branch of a worldwide organization, this chapter is distinguished by its operation of summer camp for children since 1921, including its own Sunshine Point Camp for boys and girls since 1947.
Our volunteers work hard year-round to raise the funds required to operate the Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp (KSPC). For our many volunteers, it is a labour of love that culminates with a Dinner at the Camp - with the children! When a child rushes up and gives you the biggest hug around the knees while saying, THANK YOU!
Recently the Kiwanis Club of Windsor proudly became the major supporter of the Kiwanis Music Festival here in Windsor. We are thrilled by this expansion in our service projects.
The Kiwanis Club of Windsor meets once per month, on the fourth Tuesday of the month, at the Roseland Golf and Curling Club - meetings begin at 5:30 sharp. Members purchase their own dinners from the menu.
We are always looking for new members so we hope you can join us and help Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp continue to give the kids of Windsor-Essex, the best week of their summer, and the Kiwanis Music Festival celebrate the best of youth in music.
